When Aryan Faezi sits at the piano, he does not see 88 keys. He sees 88 possibilities for every student who walks through his door. As a piano teacher in Redmond, WA, he has built a space where students can grow with confidence and learn with purpose. His journey to founding the Faezi Piano Academy began at age seven, when he first touched the piano and discovered a passion that shaped his future and the futures of hundreds of students.
Aryan's musical education shows years of discipline and commitment. His first teacher, Persian film composer Saaed Shahram, taught him that technique without emotion creates noise. True artistry comes from the heart. Under the guidance of Royal Conservatory professor Farad Soltani, Aryan completed a demanding two year program that strengthened his understanding of music theory. Concert pianist Mark Salman then refined Aryan's technique through three intensive years of advanced study.
Despite learning from these world class mentors, Aryan often had to move from one teacher to another. This constant search for complete training made him stronger but also revealed a problem. Students should not have to build their education piece by piece. This realization planted the idea for an academy that brings every essential part of piano education into one place.
This vision took shape while Aryan worked as the resident pianist at Maggiano's in downtown Bellevue. Performing four hours every night helped him develop his improvisational style and sharpen his ability to connect with listeners. Creating personalized pieces for guests and appearing on local radio showed him the power of complete musicianship. It proved that great pianists need more than technical skill. They need expression, creativity, and the ability to move people.
At age 13, Aryan taught his first students and earned his teaching diploma from the American College of Musicians. With eight years of teaching experience and hundreds of students guided since then, he brings a rare perspective to piano education. He understands every step of the journey, from early scales to advanced performances. As a piano teacher in Redmond, WA, he works closely with students to build strong technique, deep musical understanding, and confident performance skills.
The Faezi Piano Academy is the result of this experience. Students learn as complete musicians through a curriculum that blends technical skill, music theory, composition, and real world performance practice. Whether a student dreams of performing Chopin in a concert setting or jazz in a small venue, they gain the versatility and confidence to succeed.
What sets the academy apart is a commitment to high standards. Many programs lower expectations. Aryan raises them. Examinations are led by respected concert pianists like Mark Salman. Students earn certificates that carry real value, from high school art credits to college applications, because their work is measured against strong professional standards.
For Aryan, the Faezi Piano Academy is more than a business. It is a mission. Students should not have to face the same fragmented learning path he experienced. Under one roof, they receive structure, mentorship, and clear direction. They learn how to play music and how to live it.
“When my students sit at any piano, anywhere in the world, they should feel at home. They should have the skills, the confidence, and the artistry to create music that matters.”
